# Snowflake

Challenge guidance, participant resources, opening materials, and judging requirements for Snowflake Hack Days.

Snowflake supports Major League Hacking and the Hack Days program with a platform that brings data, applications, and AI capabilities together. Hackers can use its APIs and AI tools to add intelligent features to their projects without managing a collection of separate services.

## Best Use of Snowflake

It’s time to turn your data into an intelligent application. Play with industry-leading LLMs on a single account using the Snowflake APIs. Adding AI to your project can be as simple as a single `curl` command to Snowflake's REST API. So, what can you build with Snowflake?

* Create a RAG-powered chatbot that answers questions using relevant data
* Add AI-powered summarization, content generation, or information extraction to an application
* Build a customized data application without stitching together a collection of separate AI services

Before the event, share the current account or trial instructions from the onboarding materials and confirm that both student and professional participants can complete that access flow.

## Judging Evidence

Confirm that the project actually uses Snowflake. Choose the highest-quality eligible project with the strongest implementation of Snowflake's AI capabilities.
